Upper Norwood is a hilly residential area of South-East London. It can be defined as the Upper Norwood ward of the London Borough of Croydon and/or the postal district SE19, which includes areas within the London Boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Southwark and Bromley. For the purposes of this website, the area of Upper Norwood will be defined as a combination of the ward and postal district boundaries.
There are also names for some local areas within Upper Norwood, such as Crystal Palace, Gipsy Hill, Norwood New Town and Crown Point.
